Jessica Lee Small is able to stay at home with her toddler son, while earning additional income as a press release writer. Small Wonders Press is her first venture into the world of small businesses.

Small graduated from the University of Maine in Orono with degrees in English and Journalism. She has worked for various Maine newspapers, including the Bangor Daily News, the Ellsworth American, the Courier-Gazette in Rockland and the Piscataquis Observer in Dover-Foxcroft. She also has won accolades for her writing from the Maine Press Association and the New England Press Association. In 1999, she won the Bob Drake Young Journalism Award for the state, recognizing her rising star in the profession.
